From 2013 to 2017, "LUKOIL-Energoinzhiniring" Company carries out projects to increase power generating facilities of LUKOIL in the framework of Contracts for supply of power (DPM). The basis of the projects – implementation of cooling systems in gas turbines Air Intake Systems, which contains:

• absorption chillers to produce coolant
• modernization of gas turbine’s Air Intake Systems (AIS) by installation/integration of cooling modules inside of AIS to cool gas turbine intake air

These projects prevent the loss of power and generate additional electricity during high ambient temperatures.

"Advice Turboinzhiniring" LLC (ATE) as one of the project participants has made a significant contribution to the modification of gas turbine’s Air Intake Systems. Engineering solutions developed by Company specialists and necessary equipment (coolers, separators, etc.) manufactured and supplied by ATE allowed to carry out in a short time the following works:  

• Astrakhanskaya GRES PGU 110 (owner "LUKOIL-Astrakhanenergo") – ATE in cooperation with Bilfinger Gerber GmbH (Germany) developed, manufactured and shipped on site two new upgraded Air Intake Systems for LM6000 PF (GE) gas turbines  instead of ordinary ones.
• Astrakhanskaya GRES PGU 235 (owner "LUKOIL-Astrakhanenergo") – design, manufacture and shipment of original cooling modules (ATE own design) with development of technical solutions of cooling modules implementation in the existing AIS design.
• Budyonnovskaya TES PGU 135 (owner "LUKOIL-Stavropolenergo") - design, manufacture and shipment of original cooling modules (ATE own design) instead of the regular Empty Duct Module (EDM) to upgrade Air Intake Systems (AIS) of two TRENT 60 (SIEMENS/Rolls-Royce) gas turbines. To prevent AIS input section from icing it has been developed and shipped heating system based on infrared heaters. To replace the EDM it was designed special tools and developed original technology to carry out the installation procedure in the limited space of production workshop in the shortest time.

All works was carried out at a high technical level with the provision of skilled support.
